Being an avid coffee drinker, Monarch founder and owner, Anelma le Roux, was dreading all the single-use coffee packaging. She searched high and low and settled on coffee packaging that is great for storage, good looking on a shelf, and best of all, can be refilled!
Why reusable packaging?
For our children of course! Our landfills are overflowing, our oceans are choking on plastics, and all this poisons our soils, affecting our health and wellbeing.
Worldwide, we as humans, collectively create more than 350 million tonnes of plastic every year and some reports indicate that up to 50% of that is for single-use purposes – utilized for just a few moments, but on the planet for at least several hundred years. It’s estimated that more than 10 million tonnes of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year, more than a garbage truck load, EVERY MINUTE.
Only 17% of plastic gets recycled. The rest, unfortunately, ends up in our oceans or landfills. And recycled or not, every piece of plastic that has ever been manufactured, still exists! Yes, read that again!

All our coffee blends are available across South Africa and Namibia. We see each sale as a new partnership and our aim is to ensure our clients’ benefit through our exceptional coffees. We pride ourselves in providing not only the perfect cup of coffee, but also all coffee related services, free of charge:

III. Free, weekly delivery for any orders over 5kg's.
Included in our wholesale package, we offer free barista training. This is an exclusive offer where our coffee connoisseur visits your space and trains your baristas to ensure the perfect cup, every time!
